Our Bamberg Abbey Shops
In addition to our products from the meadows and forests of the Bamberg Civic Hospital Foundation, you will find a colorful range of regionally marketed goods in our Bamberg foundation shops. Our assortment is constantly being expanded to include exquisite gift ideas. Information material and print media related to Bamberg and the surrounding area, which are worthwhile not only for visitors to the World Heritage city, are also available there.

The first Bamberg Abbey Shop opened in 2015 in the monastery courtyard. Initially intended as a temporary measure to mark the monastery's 1000th anniversary, the visitor center has since become a permanent shop, now complemented by a café and information center.

In 2019, the second Bamberg Abbey Shop was opened at Hauptwachstraße 9. Located right at the start of the pedestrian zone and offering a carefully selected range of products and beautiful décor, it is the perfect place to browse all year round.

Game meat sales
The Bamberg abby shop also offers game meat from the forests of the Bamberg Civic Hospital Foundation. Game meat is a regional, high-quality food that has always been available in the foundation's own forests. After the renovation of the Weipelsdorf forest lodge and the opening of the farm shop, game products were added to the range.
